We started a long time ago, or rather it was Silviano Venchi who started in 1878, a 20-year-old boy from Turin who was so in love with chocolate that he spent his savings on two bronze cauldrons and began to experiment first in his own apartment and then in a small place. in via degli Artisti in Borgo Vanchiglia in Turin.
Those experiments went so well that after a few years the Nougatine were born, bon bons of chopped and caramelized Piedmont hazelnuts covered in extra dark chocolate (the advice is to reread this story while tasting one) and the Venchi Spa, "...the most elegant chocolate shop in Piedmont..." nominated among other things "Supplier of the Royal House”
